Brighton hosted the 2010 Nikita Chickita where 40 talented young chickies (the youngest, Sage Kotsenburg's little sis, Kirra, was 13! Ba-gok!) competed for the grand prize of $1000 and a one year contract with Nikita. The unprecedented first place winner of both the amateur and professional divisions was Jessika Jenson from Idaho. Second place for pro went to Lynn Neil; third place pro went to Colleen Quigley. Midori Ortari took second for the amateur division and Renae Palma took third. Jason Melville was unofficially voted #1 Ladies Man, Scott Prunier swept the competition for Surliest Canadian, and Tosh Turner was the uncontested champion for Most Adorable Little Guy. Keep yer bloomers on, ladies! --kl
